With Doctor Alex Oshymyansky’s mission to produce low-cost versions of high-cost generic drugs and Mark Cuban’s financial backing, this project is a significant step in disrupting the pharmaceutical industry and providing low-cost, affordable medicine.
DPR Construction awarded Brandt the installation of mechanical, plumbing, process piping, and process controls. Our involvement presented a unique opportunity for our Brandt teams to collaborate internally and with other trades. Although we did not perform the full electrical scope, we secured the process controls scope. The project team demonstrated Brandt’s comprehensive mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) capabilities.
Due to the nature of a pharmaceutical environment, there were various clean systems the project team accommodated. Brandt’s crew mobilized on-site in 2021, and installed the following items: 
- Air handling units
- Humidifiers
- Exhaust fans
- Air curtains
- Terminal units
- Chillers
- Boiler
- Hot water heaters
- Autoclave and clean water system generator
- Product filler
- Packaging equipment
- Water for injection skid and holding tank
- Environmental management system
