Southwestern Energy Headquarters
(THE WOODLANDS, TEXAS) – Southwestern Energy Company (SWN), one of the largest natural gas producers in the United States, is a growing independent energy company primarily engaged in natural gas and crude oil exploration, development, and production. Completed in December 2014, SWN’s campus is located on 25 acres near The Woodlands, Texas. This facility is home to SWN’s Houston-metroplex employees, and it provides new spaces for collaboration and innovation for the organization.
DE Harvey Builders hired Brandt to perform the mechanical and plumbing scope of work for the core and shell of phase one. This phase consisted of a 650,000 square-foot (SF) parking garage, two 10-story towers, a conference center, a fitness center, and a cafeteria, totaling 550,000 SF. The office towers and common areas have 1,920 tons of cooling, which includes a 120-ton absorption chiller. The data center will have an additional 410 tons of cooling.
This project was followed by an additional package in December 2013, with a second phase of two other 10-story towers to conclude the headquarters project for Southwestern Energy.
