This project involved the removal of (5) 1,000 ton chillers and replacing them with (5) 1,200 ton chillers. The project also included removal and replacement of the existing cooling towers, boilers and associated piping, pumps and specialties. To compound the complexity of this project, this project was completed while the existing hospital remained 100% functional and online. Brandt was able to make this happen by phasing all of our work and providing a complete functioning temporary heating and cooling system so that our project and crews were completely transparent to the hospital, it’s staff and patients.
