SAMSUNG SATURN
AUSTIN, TX
This project included the build-out of 150,000 sf of semiconductor fabrication area and another 300,000 sf of support area on three (3) floors in the existing FAB-2 building for Samsung Austin Semiconductor.
Brandt’s scope of work for this project included the installation of the HVAC piping serving the roof top MAU’s, the fabrication area dry cooling coils, the support area AHU’s and the fabrication and installation of a roof top steam to heating hot water skid. It also included the installation of the plumbing for a new support building.
This project was the most aggressive schedule that Samsung has ever attempted. By performing as much pre-fabrication as possible, including the heating water skid, Brandt was one of the only contractors on site that was able to meet this aggressive schedule.
