AT&T Center Renovation
SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS
The AT&T Center is the primary site for the Spurs’ Sports and Entertainment group. The facility is mainly used for the San Antonio Spurs NBA team, the San Antonio Rampage hockey team, the San Antonio Stars WNBA team, large venue concerts, and the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. The facility hosts over 200 events a year and has a capacity of 18,000 seats.
Brandt was awarded this contract as a preferred Mechanical and Plumbing contractor. The overall value of the renovation was $6.5 million, to be completed in five months.
The project scope for Brandt included a major renovation of the VIP Charter level and coach’s area as well as adding new concessions, restrooms, bars, and seating areas. The home team received a new locker room, training area, hydrotherapy spas, and restrooms.
Brandt installed multiple fans and units including five kitchen exhaust fans, one steam exhaust fan, one makeup air unit, 275 plumbing fixtures, a water softener, a steam generator, and reparation and replacement of existing insulation on ductwork. Working with Hunt Construction, the project moved quickly over the four months. Our hard work and dedication led to a job well done.
In total, this project covered 750,000 square feet and was completed in October 2015.
